Entry Requirements

1. The applicant should have a level 4 diploma qualification and if not, he must have some other equivalent education qualification.

2. The second requirement for admission to the diploma program is professional experience. Yes, you heard it right. The applicant is required to have at least 2 years of relevant experience, either in training, teaching, or other relevant roles.

3. The third requirement includes the applicant’s proficiency in the English language. Especially the non-native applicant must have a 6.65 IELTS score or equivalent.

4. The fourth requirement includes the submission of the admission form, personal statement, and reference letters.

5. The fifth requirement is to have the relevant experience in the field

(Fact: almost 70% of the accepted applicants in these programs are found to have prior experience in management positions. Almost 85% had more than the required year of experience, which marks them as the most suitable candidates given the program’s competitive nature.

6. The last but not the least requirement is the character certificate. That is, the candidate must not have any criminal background.


The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training Management is equivalent to all the other Level 5 diplomas in the UK education framework. These include

Duration and Delivery

The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training Management, including OTHM assignments, if pursued and pursued full-time, takes one complete year to complete. If pursued, part-time work takes 2 years to complete, depending on the candidate’s schedule. Working professionals usually adopt the part-time diploma option.
